activities.
ARES Net - 146.78
This net meets on Mondays at 7:00 p.m. MST on 146.78, negative offset, PL=91.5Hz.
ARES Net - 146.98

of the country goes on daylight savings time) on 146.98 MHz, negative offset,

ARES Net - 147.22

This net meets on Thursday evenings 7:00 p.m. MST after the RACES net on
147.22 MHz, positive offset, PL=100Hz.
Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (RACES)
RACES is administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and
operates only for civil preparedness and in times of civil emergency. RACES
is activated at the request of a state or federal official.

Sky Warn

10 Meter Net meets on Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. on 28,490 MHz.
Special Events
The following are some of the special events held in the Northern Arizona
area.
Coconino Amateur Radio Club (CARC) Field Day
The 1996 Field Day was a great success. The club broke its record for points
at Field Day.
Northern Arizona Ham Fest
The August 1996 Ham Fest at Fort Tuthill (Fairgrounds) in Flagstaff, AZ was
a fantastic success. We look forward to the 1997 event and will post the dates
as soon as we get them.
