The ARES is sponsored by the ARRL and handles many different kinds of public-service activities.

ARES Net - 146.78

This net meets on Mondays at 7:00 p.m. MST on 146.78, negative offset, PL=91.5Hz.

ARES Net - 146.98

This net meets on Thursday evenings 7:00 p.m. MST after the RACES net on 147.22 MHz, positive offset, PL=100Hz.

RACES is administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and operates only for civil preparedness and in times of civil emergency. RACES is activated at the request of a state or federal official.

Coconino Amateur Radio Club (CARC) Field Day

The 1996 Field Day was a great success. The club broke its record for points at Field Day.

Northern Arizona Ham Fest

The August 1996 Ham Fest at Fort Tuthill (Fairgrounds) in Flagstaff, AZ was a fantastic success. We look forward to the 1997 event and will post the dates as soon as we get them.
